Feldspars are a common non-metallic alumino-silicate mineral that have a hardness of 6 on Mohs scale and produce white streaks.

There are broadly three main types: potassium, sodium and calcium rich feldspars. They have the following general chemical formulas:

KAlSi3O8 - NaAlSi3O8 - CaAl2Si2O8

The endmember mineral states are known as K-Feldspar, Albite and Anorthite which are the potassium, sodium and calcium feldspars respectively.

Perhaps you mean feldspar?

Feldspar is the most common rock mineral in the Earth's crust (about 60%).
