The ceremony is to have thought to last 35 minutes and in a Hindu temple this ceremony happens 6 or 7 times a day. At the end of the ceremony the Hindus are then offered the food that was offered to the Gods as they now believe that its has been blessed by them. The Hindus also wave their hand over a flame as a sign of respect.
