If air gap dimension is less than or equal to 10% of the smallest dimension of the area,

the area must be increased by 2 x width of air gap in both directions.

eg. l=20mm,w=10mm

A=l x w,.02 x.01=0.0002m^2

If we are supposed to increase this area for eddy current phenomenon, we multiply

the area by 0.95 (0.0002m^2 X 0.95 =0.00019m^2)

The Celtic Fringe is an area of Europe where Celtic customs or Celtic language exists. What happens to the intensity of a bright fringe when the wavelength of the light is increased?

It decreases. This is because the same amount of energy is distributed over a larger area (wavelength increases, so fringe spacing also increases). Energy per unit area decreases and this is why intensity decreases.
