The term 'Hapsburg Syndrome' comes from the movie 'Run Fat Boy Run' as a common name for the imaginary disease known as 'Acute Neurocortical Emphasitis' which was invented to act as the focus of a fake charity created solely to participate in the London Marathon however the plan backfires when they are asked by the marathon committee for their official charity registration number to prove it's existance.
A real condition of a similar name exists however and it is known as 'Hapsburg Jaw' which is when either of the jaws (mandible and/or maxilla) protrudes beyond a predetermined imaginary line in the coronal plane of the skull.

large jaw; misplaced ureters; and many others.
Very few physicians know about it in this country. Only Neurosurgeons, urologists, Ear, Nose & Throat; only those who would be involved in the treatment. It is WELL known in Europe where the Royal families had it.
I have learned a lot about it because my family has it, especially spinal stenosis
and ureter misplacement. I have had 9 surgeries, my sister and her daughters, several.
