If you did not do that than you can get a halter and put it on loose so that it is not hurting him/her but tight enough so they cant rip it off. when the horse gets used to that then you can clip a lead rope to his halter and ask for a walk and it will take time but if the horse is still a baby it will take less time then a matured horse
