May not be anything special.But sitting position is not the ideal for sleep as it hampers the very purpose of sleep,that is rest.It also may cause injury,spasm of neck.The normal redistribution of blood in sleep may also be hampered in sitting position.I don't fall asleep on purpose. I fall asleep while trying not to, my neck is hurting, and my extremities are tingling.
