boxer was an example of a naive working class citizen he had an inability to question authority and whenever a problem arose he would answer it with 'napoleon is always right' or 'i will work harder' boxer and the working class animals were the reason napoleon succeeded in taking over manor farm.

Boxer dies in Animal Farm because he overworks his strength. "I will work harder!" is a motto Boxer uses mostly. After the other animals figure out his strength is gone, the pigs sell him off to the knacker (to make glue).
