no..the games are the same..the difference is that with the collectors edition (depending on your country or where you live and where you buy it)..you get the game in a metal case instead of plastic and can get a limited edition Halo 2 controller included..but this will generally cost more..

The Legendary Edition comes with the game itself, a model of a spartan helmet, (the main character, Master Chief, is a spartan) although it can't be worn. It also comes with a poster, and 2 DVDs which have a lot of content.
