Barry m is great and you can get it in black white pink and blue :)
OPI makes it. - - - - - OPI was the company that "reintroduced" crackle polish, but now every nail polish company makes it. It is very easy to make: take regular nail polish and put some alcohol in it. There's already a solvent called ethyl acetate in nail polish. Alcohol and ethyl acetate evaporate at different rates, and this causes the paint film to crack. This would normally be bad, but with crackle nail polish it's the whole point of doing it.
Any you like! here's some suggestions: Pink nail polish with black crackle Blue nail polish with black crackle Black nail polish with pink crackle Pink nail polish with white crackle Grey nail polish with blue crackle Black nail polish with white crackle Red with green crackle for Christmas Orange with black crackle for Halloween Yellow with blue crackle for summer.
yes because it makes it show up better.
Crackle nail polish basically has alchohol in iit. The alcohol makes the nail polish crackle, because of the chemicals in it. Crackle nail polish can also be done at home. Materials: 1) 1 bottle of nail polish (colored nail polish perferred) 2) 1 bottle of alcohol Procedure: Step 1) open the bottle of nail polish Step 2) open alchol, and poor 1 cap of alcohol into 1 bottle of nail polish Step 3) shake up the nail polish Step 4) apply to nails with nail polish on it. It takes a few secs to start to crackle. And wala! There u go homemade crackle nail polish!! ;)
it will crack the same it will on top of a nail polish.
The same as any other crackle polish: it's all in the solvents. Crackle polishes must be applied over regular polishes. The solvent in the crackle polish reacts with the solvent in the regular polish, which makes it dry unevenly and crack. Normally you don't want your nail polish to crack while it's drying, but with this stuff that's the whole point of using it.
You can't just use the crackle nail polish because there has to be another polish under it. its like crackle paint for walls, the chemicals react with the normal nail polish in order to make the crackle effect.
The manufacturers add a solvent (ethanol) to the polish that makes the crackle layer dry quickly and unevenly. Curiously, this is the opposite of the way "normal" nail polish should work, as it should dry smoothly and evenly. This answer is from a different question site.
not long, as soon as you have applied crackle to all of your nails you can put top coat on in the same order you applied the crackle, as it will be fully cracked my this stage.
put on a base coat let that dry and then applie the crackle nail polish it has to a proper crackle nail polish tho you can't just use ordanary nail polish
The first brand who released the crackle nail polish was a person named Opi
You usually only put on one coat, or else the nail polish doesn't crack nicely. Make sure you have a lot on your brush though when you paint it on.
