Formulas are considered trade secrets, so, it is difficult at best for the general public to ascertain exactly what chemicals exist in a particular "batch" of gasoline. One may find xylenes, benzene, toluene, methel-tert-butyl-ether, or MTBE, and a host of other chemicals. Some of these chemicals float. Some evaporate. Some of these chemicals, like MTBE totally disolve in water. There are over 150 different compounds found in in any given formulation of gasoline. Within this group, there exist over 60 individual chemicals that are KNOWN to cause cancer in humans. Also there are certain chemicals added to gasoline to "identify" a particular batch. These identifiers are also usually toxic to humans. Until recently, it has not been realized how fragile the human sugar regulating mechanism really is, nor has it been realized how great an affinity for the pancreas these constituents of gasoline really have. Without getting overly technical, a spill of only 10 gallons of gasoline, a quantity undetectable by manual inventory control, contains about 230 grams of benzene. The EPA's Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) for benzene is five parts per billion (PPB), or five micrograms per liter, in drinking water. The density of gasoline is about 0.8 grams per milliliter, so the benzene in a 10 gallon gasoline leak can contaminate about 46 million liters, or 12 million gallons, of water! What is the difference between Nissan Caravan and Nissan Homy?
not alot..... its mosty the engine that could be different. my petroll 1988 homy gl is a Z20 engine but most diesel models (homy and caravan) have the Z24 and Z28 motors in them.
