Ingestion is another term for eating, and feces is the more medical name for the digestive body waste, which is also called stools. So if someone is ingesting feces, it means they are eating body waste. That is more common in toddlers, the mentally ill and those who are senile. Others may consume fecal matter out of curiosity, shock value, or some sort of fetish.
