group of countries in an alliance
Jose Rizal believed in the importance of the intimate alliance between religion and good education because he saw education as the key to enlightenment and progress. He believed that a strong moral foundation, which religion could provide, combined with quality education would lead to a more enlightened and empowered society. Rizal thought that by integrating both, individuals could develop a sense of moral responsibility and critical thinking skills necessary to effect positive change in society.
There is an intimate alliance between religion and education in sectarian institutions. This is wherein religion is an integral part of the curriculum.
Jose Rizal believed that a strong foundation in education, particularly one that encourages critical thinking and promotes freedom of thought, is essential in fostering a society that is both morally upright and intellectually enlightened. He also recognized the importance of religious teachings in guiding individuals towards moral development, but emphasized the need for religion to coexist harmoniously with the pursuit of knowledge and reason. Rizal's vision of an intimate alliance between religion and education involves a balance between faith and reason, where both elements complement each other in shaping individuals who are not only virtuous but also intellectually capable.

Rizal shared his thought about the importance of education to enlighten the nation which was useful to gain societal freedom for every nation. It may also provide us the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to expand the horizon of our thoughts. However, this would not be enough to be properly educated. Rizal thought that there was really an intimate alliance between religion and good education.

OK - I will assume you speak English as a second language. The question could be read: "(Is there an) intimate alliance between religion and good education?" or it could be read: "Intimate (using the word as a verb) the alliance between good religion and good education." As a verb it means to "make something known in an indirect way" and that doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. I'll assume that what you really mean is "Is there a statistical correlation between religious affiliation and educational level?" The answer to that one is no- if anything the correlation is inverse. The more educated one becomes and the more one is able to think in a coherent logical manner the less attached people become to social and religious values. If you teach someone to think (education) they won't conform to the brain washing technique of religion. Note - Personally I do not connect religiosity to Spirituality.
The two were intimate friends, and they went out together every weekend.
