What is a Isthumas and strait in geography?
An isthmus is a thin piece of land that links two larger masses
of land. A strait is a narrow waterway that joins two larger bodies
of water. An example of a strait is the Strait of Magellan that
connects the Pacific with the Atlantic Ocean. Likewise, the Isthmus
of Panama links North America and South America.
