There is no specific name for these three planets.
Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus are all gas giants, primarily composed of hydrogen and helium with some other gases. They do not have solid surfaces like terrestrial planets such as Earth. They have thick atmospheres and are much larger in size compared to Earth.
From largest to smallest, the eight planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury. This is by diameter; if you are interested in the mass, Neptune is smaller, but more massive, than Uranus.
In our solar system, Saturn is well known for its spectacular ring system, however, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune all have faint ring systems. Collectively the four outer planets are referred to as gas giants, often the term ice giants is applied to Uranus and Neptune.
The planets that are farthest from the sun are called the Outer Planets. They are located outside the asteroid belt. They are (from closest to the sun):JupiterSaturnUranusNeptuneThey are all made up of gases.
These are the four outer planets, known as the gas giants. Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
The Jovian planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These planets are large gas giants primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, and they are located beyond the asteroid belt in our solar system.
Eh, what? lol? Noone 90%+ similar but 89%-. Those are: Saturn, Neptune and Uranus.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the 4 inner planets (terrestrial planets). Although none of them have planetary rings of their own, surrounding them is the Asteroid Belt. Asteroids are chunks of rock and and dust particles that in the the creation of the sun, never grew big enough to be classified as planets. However, if you are asking about planetary rings, then the 4 gas giants, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune have those, Saturn's rings being the largest, of course.
The group of people who named Jupiter is called the Ancient Romans
Yes - and no. Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are all small planets and are nearer the sun than the huge gas giants Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. However, there are other minor planets ('planetoids') that are much smaller and lie between Mars and Jupiter and beyond Neptune, Pluto being the nearest of this further group of minor planets. So, if you define a planet to iinclude the planetoids, then the answer is 'no; if the planets do not include planetoids, the answer is 'yes'.
If you mean that the 'first' 4 planets (mercury, venus, earth and mars) are a group then this group is called the ROCKY planets. Using the same grouping the next 4 planets (jupiter, saturn, uranus and neptune) are called the GAS GIANT planets. see the link I will place below
There is something in the Solar System between Mars and Jupiter called the asteroid belt. It is a group of asteroids gathered around the Sun. The asteroid belt separates our entire Solar System into two parts. The Inner Planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars) are the ones in the first portion of the Solar System, the part closest to the Sun. The Outer Planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune), on the other hand, are the ones in the part of the Solar System that is furthest from the sun.Mars is an inner planet.
