there is no given name for this action other than the generic term of defence, but the manor in which its done varies greatly within birds, for example, a skylark will fly up and sing if it is disturbed in order to distract you from the nest site, lapwings will dive bomb intruders until they leave, and this is a colonial reaction, a whole colony of birds will attack an intruder that wonders into their territory.
