Acid rain
Ester
when co2 mixes with water it forms an acidic solution called carbonic acid.H2O + CO2 --> H2CO3 (carbonic acid)
Carbon dioxide (CO2) mixes with water to make a weak carbonic acid
It produces Nitrous acid
Often these are esters. One such is isoamyl acetate. Please see the link.
Acid Rain will be formed.
When water vapor in the air mixes with sulfur, it can form sulfuric acid, which is a strong mineral acid. This can lead to the formation of acid rain, which can have harmful effects on the environment, including damaging vegetation and aquatic ecosystems.
A weak acid called Carbonic Acid form. Fun Fact: This is the same weak acid that is found in many soft drinks.
A mild acid H2CO3 called carbonic acid. If mixed at high pressure this can become supersaturated and when the pressure is reduced you get carbonated water (also called soda water) that fizzes with bubbles of carbon dioxide, it is used in making carbonated beverages.
acid rain
When sulfur dioxide mixes with water, it forms sulfurous acid (H2SO3). This reaction is reversible, as sulfurous acid can also release sulfur dioxide and water. The formation of sulfurous acid can contribute to acid rain formation when sulfur dioxide is released into the atmosphere.
Sulphur dioxide mixes with water vapour to form sulphurous and sulphuric acid.
