Unlike with humans, it is not given any fancy scientific name, and is simply called "depression". If they are left outside without the chance to socialize, if they are indoors yet still ignored, if they have a cage that is too small to stretch out in or is dirty, if they are without toys to entertain themselves with, all of these can lead to depression. The most common reason for depression is the death of another rabbit in the household, and they are capable of grieving. If this happens, it is essential to give them as much attention as possible, and possibly even "spoil" them a little until they recover.
