What is it like getting your tonsils taken out I have a tonsil infection and probably are going to get my tonsils taken out.I am scared...What is it going to be like?

You will be given medicine that will make you fall asleep, and when you wake up it will seem like it was just a minute ago that you went to sleep, although it has been longer. You won't remember the surgery. You will have a sore throat for a few days, but you will be able to eat things like ice cream and Jell-O and pudding, yum! So there are advantages to it.
