∙ 12y agoJet lag is the condition of excessive fatigue and lethargy which results from travel laterally across time zones. The alteration in the sleep wake cycle and the natural biological factors which influence circadian rhythm (sunlight, darkness, etc.) are the primary etiologic factors. On average, it takes on day per hour time zone difference to become physiologically adapted to the new time zone.
