How do you convince your parents to let you buy a Jetski?

** I am original asker with more info ** Alright - it's a bit complicated as to why I can't get a Jetski. I would like to buy a Jetski for $1500 from a friend. This includes a floating dock for the Jetski, as well as a trailer. I will be paying for this myself, and I have my own job, where I make 3x the cost of the Jetski each month. I also take in an extra $1500 with an online service each month. I have no other expenses besides gas money, and pocket money. Now, we live on the water, so I could put the floating dock in my backyard, the only thing I could see as an obstacle is that none of our cars have trailer hitches. However, I do not believe that should be too expensive, as we already have the trailer receptacle on our truck. My parents allow me to rent Jetski's on my own and take them out, which will soon begin to cost me much more than the $1500 to buy, however they won't let me buy one. They won't give me any reasons as to why. Does anyone have any ideas on how to convince them? I'm hoping this isn't a lost cause. I'm 17 by the way, and have been boating/jetskiing all my life. If you have any questions on specifics, just ask me. I'm glad to answer!

What things can you do in San Diego?

San Diego is a great city!I live in San Diego and there is everything to do! The beaches are always the first choice, with several to choose from, whether you want to surf or just lie in the sun. If you like dancing, there is the Gaslamp District in Downtown. They also have some very nice restaurants and pubs there too. For Mexican food, try the Old Town and soak up some Southern California history. There is the marine life on display and performing at San Diego Seaworld. The San Diego Zoo is the best in the world, and very well known for its cute pandas. Balboa Park has very nice museums ( the Dead Sea Scrolls are here ). You can go on a boat around the Harbor or sailing, or visit the Maritime Museum. Play golf at a world class course such as the one at Torrey Pines. Rock climbing is nice in the mountains ( or in the foot hills). You can also go to the desert, it is just 1 1/2 hours from downtown. To make it short, you can surf in the morning, have a nice breakfast downtown, go for a mountain hike around noon and ride in a dune buggy in the evening and still make it home in time to go to bed. San Diego has everything to do!I Personally Hate San DiegoBut, that just could be because I've lived there since I was born?

Also, humanitarian work can be done to help the people who are still taken aback by the unfortunate devastating earthquake. Help donate some spare change to Haiti as well as clothes, food, can food water and more if you can. GOD BLESS HAITI
