People sometimes think that propaganda is sometimes negative because propaganda means to spread false information about something (usually political). Flase information can lead to negativity.
Jihad is a tenet of Islam and a religious duty to strive in the way of God. There are two general ways to do this, the Greater Jihad and the Lesser Jihad. The Greater Jihad is an introspective journey to conquer your internal demons and follow the Divine Laws more closely than previously; this kind of jihad should be entirely peaceful. The Lesser Jihad refers to conflicts and confrontations between Muslims and Non-Muslims or other Muslims, which often erupt in war, but can also be performed through non-violent protests, debate, and advocacy. It is this Lesser Jihad that is often seen in a negative light because those who engage in it perform many human rights abuses in concert with their beliefs on the proper way that jihad should be performed.
This is called propaganda. Propaganda can also be used to portray an opposing side in a negative light.
True(OW)
Jihad-crusade
False. Whether or not certain propaganda is negative would depend on the interpretation of the individual who is experiencing it. Again, false. Take the Avatar film for instance, some people 'complain' that it's "environmental propaganda"... wtf? Is it not universally agreed that destroying the environment is a bad thing? Doesn't avatar show just that? Avatar promotes saving the environment, so how is that BAD? The short answer is, it isn't. On the otherhand, take army propaganda: obviously there is much dispute over whether joining the army is a good thing or not. Most would agree that propaganda as such is negative. Again, propaganda can be bad, but also good. It could simply be defined as "a pursuasive message", if you think about it.
Propaganda is not good. Propaganda posters in the war were posters which were not true and they persuaded men to join war not knowing what was going to happen there
Yes, Jihad is used as male name. Jihad is an Arabic word that means struggle. Answer 2 No Jihad is not a name ,Mujahid (the person who does jihad) is a name for a male. Mujahida is for a female.
The Jihad Movement was a uniting force for Muslims. Jihad means fighting for Islam. And it was Successful.
Jihad is an ongoing phenomenon. It has not ended.
Burger King does not really use propaganda. That would mean it was saying negative things about other restaurants. Instead, they use positive marketing strategies.
My Dear, 'Holy War' is NOT an accurate translation of the Islamic term Jihad. because; > the Oxford dictionary meaning of the term 'Jihad' is 'to strive' or 'to struggle' or 'to-do-your-best-efforts', or 'to try hard' > nowhere you can find its meaning as 'War' > in Arabic language the word 'Jihad' is derived from another Arabic word 'Juhud' which means 'continuous struggle', > it should also be clear that Jihad has positive meaning and there is no negative meaning, e.g in all the above meanings are positive. But unfortunately, the media is propagating/using this word in a negative sense, > therefore, if a student is striving to be a good student by studying hard, then it simply means that he is doing Jihad, > similarly, if a social worker is continuously struggling to provide social service to humanity in the name of Allah, then he is doing Jihad, > if a Muslim is trying to be a good Muslim by acting on the golden principles of Islam, then he is also doing Jihad, in this sense, if someone (not necessarily the Muslims) is struggling to eradicate the antisocial elements/evils prevailing in any society (be its European society, Christan's society or Hindu society etc) then s/he is also doing Jihad.
