No there's not. Except on the back of food packets it is called Kcal's instead of calories. This answer is wrong. A food, or dietary Calorie is equal to 1000 calories, which is 1 Kcal (kilocalorie). A capital C is also used to designate a Kcal, or 1000 small calories. A small calorie is designated by a small c, and is equal to the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of 1 cubic centimeter of water by 1 degree centigrade at standard atmospheric pressure.
