Lestoil is a heavy duty grease stain remover. It is made by Clorox. It works well but is caustic so keep away from children and pets. Also, change bottles if you have it for more than a year as this caustic material may eat through the bottle.
Lestoil had a collection of 43 Parade of Dolls from life and legend. You had to send one lestoil label with $1.00 to get one of the dolls. This was in the 50's and 60's
what stores in Clearwater fl sell lestol cleaner
Lestoil is a heavy duty cleaner. It is ideal for cleaning grease, tar, oil of food stains. It is safe to use indoors and on common surfaces like floors, walls, countertops and on household appliances.
Yes you can, I wash my husbands jeans with Lestoil to remove grease, gasoline and it works.
All you have to do is put a little Lestoil on a paper-towel and wipe away the sap! Works great.
Drain the cooling system as best as you can including the block if possible. Pour two cups of "Lestoil" household cleaner into the radiator and refill with fresh water. Use the vehicle for a week then drain the system again and flush. If there is still evidence of oil in the cooling system treat again with "Lestoil" for another week. Once the system drains and flushes clean, refill with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and clean water.
Ace Hardware. You can buy it online by the case, or ask a local store to order it for you. The store can order individual bottles. When I did this, it took less than a week to come in and was $3.
Try a cleaning product called Lestoil. It takes out oil based stains. I found it at dollar tree.
You can drain the cooling system then refill with clean water and a cup of "Lestoil" household cleaner. Run the engine for several hours then drain the system and repeat the process until the drain water runs clean. Refill with a mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze and you will be fine.
Below the radiator on the passenger side is a plastic screw that help you to drain the radiator. You can also disconnect the upper radiator hose. Once you have removed the screw or the hose, with the engine running put water on it while the waters run and drains. Maintain the water running until you see the water comes clear, be sure to check the engine temperature doesn't goes too hot. Once you see the water clear, it almost the radiator and engine running with clean water. Turn off the engine, place the screw or hose back and fill it with coolant. Remenber, to start the engine and fullfill the radiator. If the radiator is dirty, you can buy some products to clean it...if you can look for it you can use LESTOIL...put some lestoil in the radiator and run it for some miles or a complete day...it helps to clean some dirts. Good Luck.
Bring to a radiator repair shop and have it boiled out.You can purchase a bottle of "Lestoil", drain all the coolant from the radiator and block, add one cup of "Lestoil" into the radiator and sysytem with clean water. Use the vehicle for a day or two then drain the radiator and block, add another cup of "Lestoil" and refill again with clean water, run the vehicle again. Do this until the water drains clean. It works but you have to be patient.Depending on how serious your oil problem is, if it is minor, a lot of the oil will float, to the top, (lighter than water), and can be "skimmed" with what i used a large glass syringe, can use the wife's turkey baster if you buy her a new one first. When you skim off what you see in the filler area, add 50/50 antifreeze as you continue to replace what you take off.You should also check your engine oil level to see how critical your oil loss is, if it is minor, skimming would be better than draining, because draining, your oil in radiator sticks to everything but water, usually. If the dipstick has a chocolate milk film on it, you should stop, and consider getting engine, and cooling system drained and cleaned, by a trustworthy mechanic..+++ That's only curing the symptom. Oil in the radiator means a leak somewhere, probably on the head gasket, and it is that which needs to be investigated.
