As long as liver function is good and oesophageal varices are under control nothing to worry. Life style changes like quitting alcohol, non-veg food, spicy food etc will help. Reducing stressful hectic life / not getting emotional also will help. Routine Endoscopy, LFT and ultrasound are must. If all this are done & Liver function is good, varices under control then you have life expectancy like any other normal person.
