Infantile Lipofibromatosis is a very rare solid tumor found in children, primarily boys. It is usually found in the hands and feet, but may also involve the trunk, lungs, and head. It is an aggressive tumor that usually traps vessels, muscle, and nerves. Unlike Infantile Fibromatosis, Infantile Lipofibromatosis will not regress, has an aggressive growth pattern, and has a 72% recurrence rate after removal.
