Animal Husbandry means to learn the care of any animal. For instance, Lion Husbandry, would mean learning every aspect to the care of a lion, from what it eats, and how to house it, to medical care and anatomy.

∙ 12y agoRanching is a more extensive way of raising cattle, which often involves horses, lots of cattle and over 1,000 acres of land. Ranch land primarily covers native prairie or forested land (except for the "ranches" where the rain forest is cut down and burned) which cattle are raised and grazed on. However, ranching can be used in a more general way, and can be applied to a piece of land that is not over 1,000 acres and has more than just cattle. It depends on what the owner wants to call it.
