This question shows up on WikiAnswers roughly twice a month. In fact,
I just answered it yesterday. I've really become intrigued to know what
homework assignment or exam it's coming from. Clearly, everybody is
fishing for "Los Angeles". Unfortunately, that point is not in LA.
It's still located on the block bounded by Athel Dr., Edgeridge Dr., Skyline Dr.,
and Descending Dr., on the north side of Workman Hill, in Hacienda Heights,
California, about 15 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles as the crow flies.
The point has not moved since the first time it was answered here, and barring
any really significant seismic or tectonic activity, it's not likely to in the near future.
If you want "Los Angeles" to be the answer, then the coordinates have to change.
"34 degrees north and 118 degrees west" is still not in L.A.
