What is made up of protons neutron and electrons it starts with a q and has 5 letters?
What causes a charge separation in clouds?
The cloud starts of with a lot of protons and electrons. Soon enough, the electrons start to get pulled down in the cloud because of the protons on Earth. Also, it is electrons and not protons that get pulled down because protons are harder to move because they are in the center of the nuclei in an atom. In other words, the protons on Earth cause charge separation in clouds because opposites attract, and the protons on the ground pull the electrons down.
Asked in Neutron Stars
What causes a neutron stars to form?
The strong gravity of the core of a dead high-mass star causes a neutron star to form. When the high-mass star becomes a supernova and leaves a core behind, the core no longer undergo fusion. Without fusion, gravity starts to push the core inward until most protons and electrons are crushed into neutrons, a neutron star forms. If the core is too massive, the neutron star would collapse and become a black hole.

What logo has blue letters and starts with a band has 7 letters?
What is a physiological explanation for the effect of sunlight on plant growth?
the photon excites an electron that starts a reaction. the parts of the reaction are splitting a water molecule into oxygen, two protons, and two electrons. electrons replenish the excited electrons. protons are used in ETC, electron transport chain, and oxygen is released as waste. the ETC is used to make the energy for the plant to make glucose for the plant
What happens to the protons and neutrons when nuclear fusion occurs between two nuclei?
If we are talking about fusion in the sun, it starts with protons (hydrogen nuclei), effectively two protons become neutrons, and the helium nucleus resulting is two protons plus two neutrons. In the case of man made fusion on Earth, the probable reaction is deuterium (one proton plus one neutron) fusing with tritium (one proton plus two neutrons), the result is helium as above, together with a spare neutron which is ejected. These will be absorbed in the shielding material surrounding the fusion chamber.
