What is modern day Pennsylvania like?

To start, Philadelpia is the major city in the State. About half the city is black and half white and then there are hispanics and other minority ethnic groups. Quakers make up between 10-15% of the city but control tracks of land in Philadephia county and surrounding counties. In Philly the people are the friendliest people you'll ever meet anyone on the street will talk to you for hours but if they dont like you they will be very direct and tell you. Moving outside Philly is rural PA (almost all Pennsylvnians refer to Pennsylvania as PA) there are many farm controlled by the Dutch, Polish, Mennonites, and the Amish (all white), and these different ethnic groups for the most part do not associate with one another. You will see in many towns businesses will have their religon or ethnic flag posted. For a personal example I was with my cousins and I went for a walk and got lost I was looking for directions home and I asked an Amish girl how to get home she turned and walked away. I asked a dutch man (assuming from his beard) a dn he did not respond. I saw a Polish flag outside one of the houses so I went and they directed me home. And mind you these are extremely religous communites. There is a lot of diversity between every town and often times there are town rivalries where two of the clodest towns will compete or hate one another. Each town usually has its own butcher that will sell common things as well as locally hunted meats, and the different ethnic meats. Then there is Pittsuburgh where the city shuts down at night it's small and there are a ton of bars.
