The focal length of EyePiece is relatively larger to that of the Objective lens.
Power of a lens is inversely proportional to it's focal length.
Therefore, Objective is slightly more powerful than EyePiece.
The tube connects the eye piece to the objective lens. It holds two or more objective lenses and can be rotated.
The scanning power objective relates to the objective lens. Most microscopes provide two or more objective lenses to give a choice of magnification power. Some also include an oil immersion lens for even greater magnification.
The microscope works because of two lenses (ocular and objective). The objective lens magnifies the object and produces a real image. This image is projected to the ocular lens and produces the virtual image, which is the one that the eye views. More specifically, light from substage bounces off a mirror and illuminates the object on the slide being viewed on the stage. The light is then bent into a parallel path and travels through the microscope tube (through the objective lens). Then the light is bent again into a small focus for the eye to view the magnified object through the ocular lenses. Switching the amount the object is magnified by switching the objective lens changes how much the light is bent.
It provides the highest level of power to magnify the object in question, refer to the link below for more information:http://www.microscope-microscope.org/basic/microscope-parts.htm
A confocal microscope works by a laser shining on two mirrors mounted on motors which allows it to scan the sample then the emitted light is focued through the pinhole to a detector which relays an image to the lens.

10mm lens is more powerful than the 20mm lens
A bigger one.
In a simple microscope, a lens magnifies the image of the sample. in a compound microscope, the objective lens magnifies the image (there may be more than one objective lens) and the eyepiece lens enlarges the virtual image (which is typically inverted by the objective lens).
The scanning power objective relates to the objective lens. Most microscopes provide two or more objective lenses to give a choice of magnification power. Some also include an oil immersion lens for even greater magnification.
A higher power objective lens in a microscope is used when greater magnification is needed to study an object. The higher power objective lens has a shorter focal length and needs to be closer to the object being studied. It has a smaller aperture (lens diameter) so it has a narrower field of vision and may require more light to be useful. This means that it is more difficult to find and center the item being studied under the lens and it is harder to focus the lens on the object.
Less light
The body tube of a compound optical microscope contains the ocular lens, also called the eyepiece lends, and the objective lens system which consists of one or more lenses.
A subjective piece of information depends more on scientist feelingsobjective info depends more on actual observation
it is use to see more closer in the hole time being and to help it a just right.
Total magnification is determined by multiplying the magnification of the ocular lens by that of the objective lens. Compound microscope that uses more than one lens to direct light through a specimen mounted on a glass slide.
