A bomb is more powerful than a bullet its obvious
If you actually mean power (energy), then yes several of the lighter bullet weights are more powerful. If you just mean a heavier bullet, yes, you can get a 50 gr bullet.
the desert eagle is more powerful because of the bullet size and the clip size
The weapon that John Smith told Samuel was more powerful than a sword was a bullet.
Faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive. Able to reach new heights in a single bound.
It depends on how you want to define powerful. A 357 Magnum has higher muzzle energy, but a 45 just has the sheer diameter of the round going for it, so id say they perform about the same disabling human targets, but as far as actual "power" persay, the 357 is technically more powerful, but that doesnt make it a better man stopper.
It's a substantially more powerful cartridge. It does have a smaller bullet diameter than the 7.62x39, but a substantially higher muzzle velocity with a heavier projectile.
It depends on how you define "powerful" and which particular cartridges you are comparing. Most people define power as some combination of velocity and muzzle energy, and different cartridges have different specifications, so one particular 9mm may be more powerful than one particular .40, but another 9mm may be less powerful than that same .40.
The Internet would be more powerful than WikiAnswers.
The gun weighs MUCH more than the bullet.
I'd imagine that at closer ranges (like 50 yards or closer) the .44 Magnum is much more powerful. But it is a handgun round, which loses power fairly quickly. The M-16 shoots a small diameter bullet (.223) but is accurate and more powerful at a longer distance.
Technically, a 9mm bullet has NO energy, since the bullet is the metal part that leaves the muzzle of the gun when fired. However, the 9mm Parabellum cartridge does have energy. The exact energy varies with the loading of that cartridge- but about 420 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle. Typically this is more than a .38 Special cartridge, less than a .357 Magnum cartridge.
All else being equal, the one that has more foot pounds of energy.
