When you go up or down 8 notes it is called an octave. An octave has 8 notes, for example, starting from C and going up to the next C would be - CDEFGABC.
You can either A) Move all of the notes above a Bb down one octave, keeping the rest of the song the same or B) Move the entire song down an octave if there are no notes that are too low to prevent this.

Growl to the beat and pitch-shift down an octave.
If the G is in the same octave then it is a third. If it is in an octave above that it is a 10th. Some people can reach that far at the same time with one hand.
An Octave
An interval of eight notes is known as an octave.
To play a low D, play all three buttons for your left hand, and all three buttons for your right hand as well. To play an octave higher, push down the octave key (your left thumb) as well as the three buttons on each hand. To play an octave higher than that, play only the first palm key on your left hand, and the octave key.
Stems are the lines which extend from the notehead. Stems may point up or down. The length of a stem is usually that of an octave on the staff, going to either an octave higher or lower than the notehead, depending on which way the stem is pointing. Sometimes stems are the individual components of a mix separately saved (usually to disc) for the purposes of use in a remix.
