Oklahoma has a long list of state meal, these are fried Okra, cornbread, squash, barbeque pork, sausage and gravy, biscuits, grits, strawberries, corn, Pecan Pie, chicken fried steak and black-eyed peas. People of Oklahoma are informally called "Okies".
