Well one known fact i know is that emo's quiet often hate themselves and goths hate everyone around them. also dress can be slightly different.

What makes an emo an emo is that emo kids are not like anyone else. They are just themselves. And if you didn't know that not all emos cut theirselves, and not all of them are gay or lesbian or bisexual. But yes, most of them do cut and are not straight. But you people reading this shouldn't judge emos because not all of us are what you think. I'm totally with this person, and all the others. let them be who they are. I like what this person said. We emos are different and different is something good.
Why are us emos miss-took?
People (non-Emos) think that Emos overreact about little problems in their life. They think Emos think they have bigger problems than everyone else and are spoiled, depressed people that deserve to die. Those people just don't understand that Emos do what they do to help themselves cope.

First of all 'emo isn't really a real thing, very little depressed people would call them selves emo. And because emos are ment to be all self harming and probably turn anorexic of somthing, but not only emos are skinny, people who don't want to be over weight are also skinny.

Because people don't have taste in clothes or music. Not any different from normal people. The only difference is some people don't like Emos. Some think they are weird and disgusting. (Very unfair.) So just find someone that is ok with Emos or maybe is even an Emo himself! .
