Mother Teresa's work with the poor of India is well known, although somewhat exaggerated by the Catholic Church.
A perhaps unexpected incident in which she helped one particular person involved providing comfort and support to a paedophile priest. Documents said to have been obtained by SF Weekly suggest that Mother Teresa knew one of her favourite priests, Donald McGuire, was removed from ministry for sexually abusing a Bay Area boy in 1993, and that she nevertheless urged that he be returned to work as soon as possible. The priest resumed active ministry, as well as his predatory habits. Eight additional complaints were lodged against him in the coming years by various families, leading to his eventual arrest on sex-abuse charges in 2005. Her actions may or may not have been criminal in themselves, but it appears that by aiding a criminal in Father McGuire, she helped lead to the suffering of even more innocent young children.
That would be a bit difficult as Mother Teresa died in 1997.
She loved helping all people but especially the children.
She worked for God helping the less fortunate.
She started helping the unwanted , unloved and uncared peoples in India.
Mother Teresa was "color blind" when it came to helping people. Her order of sisters works all over the world helping those in need - regardless of skin color.
helping nature inspires us
she got the Noble Peace Award
5 values that Mother Teresa had include using kind words, love, humility, helping others and to not judge others.
Mother Teresa was a Catholic sister but did not work in any church. She worked in the slums and gutters of the world helping less fortunate people.
She liked doing the Lord's work of helping those in need.
She loved helping all people but especially the children.
If helping the poor and dying were popular at the time, Mother Teresa would not have needed to do the things she did. She filled a niche that was not being filled by others.
