Cause - Immaturity, both political and social Effect - The Second World War
The political and social climate of the world in 1944 was one of upheaval and uncertainty. The outcome of World War II was still not known. It wasn't a given that the Allies would win and restore peace and democracy to most of Europe.
World War 1 had significant social effects on countries, including increased nationalism and patriotism, technological advancements, changes in social hierarchies due to the loss of many young men, and the emergence of new roles for women in the workforce and society. The war also led to a sense of disillusionment and trauma among the population, as well as significant economic strains.
The country remained united and became a world power.
Victory for the Allies.
The outcome of Germany was that it was split into four zones, one for the US, one for the Soviets, one for the British, and one four the French. Berlin was also divided into four zones.
I don't think the Nazi persecution of the Jews had any bearing on the '''outcome''' of World War 2. The war (unlike the Holocaust) was not about the Jews.
The outcome of World War I FAILED to bring about a world body, the "League of Nations." The U.S. Senate WOULD NOT ratify it. The outcome of World War II SUCCEEDED in bringing about a world body, the United Nations. The U.S. Senate DID ratify it. If you don't succeed the first time in starting us on the road to a one-world socialist oligarchy, you try again (if that's what you want!)
