I think the question that was meant to be asked was "What is one that thermal energy can be transferred between two objects"
There are three means of heat transfer. One is conduction, which occurs when two objects are touching each other directly, and their temperatures will eventually equalize assuming that it is a closed system(meaning no heat is being added to the objects, and none is being taken away).
A second is called radiation, which occurs when heat is transmitted, usually through some sort of light, between two objects. The sun heats the earth in this way.
A third is called convection. This occurs when some sort of medium (such as air or water) is circulated in a current from a warm object to a cool object. To see this in action, boil a cup of water with white rice in it. The rice will rapidly rise to the top of the cup, and then it will fall back to the bottom. The water is the current here, the rice is only there to make the current more visible. Once the water is boiling the rice will move really fast.
Hope this helps!
When objects collide or touch, kinetic (mechanical) energy can be transferred.
no
radiation! :)
All thermal energy flows from high temperature objects to low temperature objects. This is the nature of thermal energy.
thermal energy.
Heat
thermal
Such energy can be transferred. Usually it will transfer from hotter objects to colder objects.

it is heat because temperature is being transferred
The transfer of energy between two objects at different average thermal kinetic energies (temperatures) is referred to as heat transfer. It is always called heat transfer, regardless of what kind of energy is being transferred.
Heat transfer... duhhh (o.o)(..)!
Heat is not the transfer of thermal energy. Heat is the thermal energy. What drives itacross a boundary between substances or objects is a difference in their temperatures.
If two objects of different temperature are brought into contact, internal energy is transferred via heat. If two objects collide, kinetic energy is transferred between them.
You have to have two objects at different temperatures near each other, when two or more objects have the same temperature.
