In terms of meats, farmers must raise the animals without antibiotics, growth hormones, and must feed them an organic diet which means that the food is produced without the use of pesticides or chemicals, GM ingredients(Genetically modified), artificial colors or flavors, preservatives, or any other artificial ingredients. In terms of fruits and other vegetation, farmers cannot use pesticides, chemical fertilizers, growth enhancers, and they can't be GM.

The term “organic” refers to the way agricultural products are produced.
