The distance betwen center axiess of the crank sahft and crank pin
it is the product of the crank pin effort (Ft) and the crank radius (r).it is denoted by T.T = Ft * rT = Fp * r (sin θ + sin 2θ / 2n)
Ovality and Taper Guages are used
behind the window crank handle, there is a horseshoe shaped pin, pop that pin off and the crank handle should pull right off.

With reference to the engine manf. tolerances and record sheet, using a calibrated micrometer. Bottom end bearing is removed from crankpin / piston removed. Surface wiped clean. Then at the specified points in the record sheet, measure the diameter. Normally at least 0, 45, 90, 135 deg. with ref to TDC and 5 equal distance locations across the pin. Normally wear would be seen at the top (highest loaded point), and may require grinding undersize to remove ovality, followed by thorough oil flushing / locate source of contamination. Check piston rings, skirt and liner condition for wear / abnormalities
I believe a gudgeon pin is what the British call a connecting rod pin (or wrist pin or piston pin) in a reciprocating assembly, (piston, connecting rod, crank ) It connects the piston head to the connecting rod.

you can buy a window crank removal tool at an autoparts store that pulls the little pin off to remove it.
The job holding chuck out of roundness or the non rigid tool clamping(holding) may be one of a major cause of ovality during turning operation. SOme times when job is hold between centre, the centre OOR(Out of roundnedd) is also cause of ovality in turning.
Pin 1 is +5V, pin 2 is Ground and pin 3 is the signal. Use analog voltimeter in pin 2 and 3. Crank the engine: the pointer of the voltimeter shoud oscilate in range 0V to 5V.
