Flood
in the engine bay, passenger side by the over flow res.
It changes the flow of air over the ends of the wings making the plane more fuel efficient.
You can find a guide on reading a fuel flow meter from sites with topics on flow metering or specifically fuel flow meters. The Flow Meter Directory is one such site. You can also use FloScan Australia which is a leading manufacturer of fuel flow meters.
There is a correct flow direction for a fuel filter. if installed backwards the car may not start because not enough fuel can flow and the is not enough fuel pressure. Make sure the flow direction is positioned witht he arrow directed towards the outlet line to the engine fuel rail/carb. IS fuel the problem? IT takes not only fuel, but spark and combustion to start a motor. is the fuel filter on right?
The fuel relay on a sunbird in under the hood on the left side just by the water over flow tank.
you open all the injector lines at the injectors . Then pump the fuel pump primer on the fuel pump . fuel will flow out one or more of the injector line , close the injector line and roll the engine over until the next injector start to flow fuel and so on , why are you having problems
turn over engine with gas line to carbs disconnected fuel should flow from line.if not either no gas or pump not working
Many possibilities. Fuel flow problem (fuel pump, clogged line, fuel injectors) Contaminated fuel. No spark or weak spark (bad plug, wires, electronic ignition module) No air flow (Clogged intake, clogged filter) Bad timing belt/chain (I can't remember which one a '93 has).
air flow is bad or t.p.s is bad check spark, check fuel
In the event of a collision, the flow of the fuel stops to prevent fire. You have the press the fuel reset button in order to start the flow again. The switch is called a fuel pump inertia switch.
How long did you crank the engine over? It sometimes takes a minute or two for the fuel pump to get the fuel back to the engine. If you have an inline filter check to make sure you are getting fuel flow.
Clogged fuel filter, or weak fuel pump.
