First of all, let me correct the words with in this question. It should be "Jeevatma" & "paramatma". Jeevatma is anyone living on this planet - One who has "Jeev" (Soul). All Jeevatma are prone to die one day. On the other hand, Paramatma is like almighty GOD and has no visible presence on the planet. But he is everywhere. You should have ability to feel him which is quite difficult to achieve. It is also said that paramatma is the ultimate stage for any human being which brings him "Mukti" (No more births & deaths !).
param means pyara and paramatma is pyara . preet means pyar and full means is paramtma naal pyaar.
Monotheistic People confuse the many Gods and deities in Hinduism with polytheism. But Hinduism is primarily monotheistic. The many Gods are considered different expressions or manifestations of the one supreme Paramatma (Ultimate spirit), which by itself is formless.
Dvaita means 'two'. Advaita means the opposite one ie 'no two'. Vedanta is veda antha - it means 'extreme of knowledge'. Those who think that Almighty, the supreme soul ie paramatma and individual soul ie jeevatma are different and cannot be united in any situation. This is dvaita. But according to advaita philosophy, only one soul ie paramatma which is having a tendency to multiply itself into so many individual souls ie jeevatma. Thus it has immense intelligence to play the hide and seek game. After getting bored with the game finally the individual soul finds the right way to get freedom from its bondage which has been made by its own willingness. This is advaita philosophy.
Hinduism is said to be polytheistic, and hence there are more followers of Hinduism when compared globally. In a general sense, Hinduism is polytheistic, but the scriptures like Bhagavadgita say that all Gods are but the different manifestations of the same One, the Paramatma or the Unitary Supersoul.
You are referring to the concept "paramatma" or "atman". Every thing that has a begining has an end. Everything ceases. There is nothing permenent, so there is nothing eternal. Buddhism disagrees on that there is something that goes out after death or comes in on birth. But there is reincarnation, until one attains Nirvana, the ceassion of re-incarnation. Buddhism teaches the way to attain this exactly.
Answer: In my opinion this question can be answered from part to whole as Brahman/Paramatma(Whole) which is uncomparable is beyond description, beyond imagination and logic, and beyond sense faculties. He can only be called as Brahman symbolically. He is beyond beginning and end of time and space. Every one has self ego.You may call your body as self and assume as your atman.Inside body there is life which in Sanskrit is Jeevatma. This again takes form of body(every body cell has life).Like this there are five atmans one inside other.Inner most atman of self and Paramatma are subject of discussion in various Hindu philosophies.
The word 'yoga' is correct for union if meant in the esoteric sense. i.e, the union of the Individual Soul(jIvAtma) with Universal Soul (paramAtma/God) is meant. If worker's union, trade union is what is meant then sa~NghaH(सङ्घ:) would be ideal qualified noun. the qualifiers would have to be kArmika(कार्मिक) or vyApAra/vANijya (व्यापार/वाणिज्य) would be better.
Lord Krishna is the Supreme Soul of all entities, He is with us life after life as the Supersoul (Paramatma), remembering what we've done, and always helping us fulfill desires. Reference: Bhagavad-gita 5.29 http://vedabase.net/bg/5/29/en and BG 13.23 http://vedabase.net/bg/13/23/en
