To "paste without formatting" in Word strips the text you are pasting of all formatting. I want to suggest another solution, copy the text from the word or open office file.. then paste it into Notepad, then copy it from there again and THEN paste it into CorelDraw, and are you "discarding" the formatting or keeping it? cause that can be a problem too.
