What is the Connective tissue covering a bundle of muscle fibers?

Perimysium.

What is the layer that is around each fascicle?

Fascia is up of sheets or bands of connective tissue fibres.

Is a nerve an organ?

Yes nerve is an organ of nervous system ., Each nerve is a cordlike structure that contains many axons. These axons are often referred to as 'fibres'. Within a nerve, each axon is surrounded by a layer of connective tissue called the endoneurium. The axons are bundled together into groups called fascicles, and each fascicle is wrapped in a layer of connective tissue called the perineurium. Finally, the entire nerve is wrapped in a layer of connective tissue called the epineurium.

What are the connective tissue coverings of a neuron?

The irregular fibrous (dense) connective tissue is covering most of the organs of our body: Fasciae (muscle, tendons, and below the skin), periosteum (bone), deep layer of dermis (our entire body), pericardium (heart and its valves), perichondrium (cartilage), joint capsules (joints), membrane capsules of liver, kidney, and lymph nodes, tunica albuginea (testicle), etcetera.

How is the size and shape of a nerve cell related to its function?

A neuron is a nerve cell in which, are circular cells that are bundled together known as ganglion. A actual nerve is attached to the nerve cell. There are two types of nerves ones that travel messages from the brain or to the brain. A nerve fiber that sends messages from the brain is called an axon fiber. The structure of an axon fiber includes myelin, which is a fatty substance stored on the outside of the nerve fiber to speed the message up. between each piece of myelin is a space called the node of ranvier that speeds the impulse up to. An alkali metal that is common and vital for all nerves is sodium. When a nerve impulse is taken place, the electrical activity passes through the sodium. Once the electrical activity has passed through the sodium atoms they become neutrally charged as they move towards the outside of the nerve fiber. The second type of nerve fiber is named a dendrite. The only difference the dendrite has is that it has no myelin sheath on the outisdeof the nerve to speed it up and also travels a lot slower than the axon fiber. Nerve fibers are bundled together in an actual nerve as the surrounding substance that keeps the nerve fibers together in the nerve is called perineurium. Towards the outside of the perineurium cluster is a substance named epineurium.

epineurium, perineurium, endoneuriumEpinerium, perineurium, endoneurium.

Where is location of the perineurium?

The perineurium is found in the peripheral nervous system. It is a membrane which forms a protective sheath around the fascicles (bundles of nerve fibres).

What is the Connective tissue covering a bundle of muscle fibers?

Perimysium.

What are the layers of connective tissue in a nerve?

Endoneurium - first Perineurium - second Epineurium - third

State the location of the perineurium?

The coarse connective tissue that covers each fascicle (bundle of fibers)

What is the layer that is around each fascicle?

Fascia is up of sheets or bands of connective tissue fibres.

What surrounds each bundle of nerve fibers?

A bundle of nerve fibers is surrounded by perineurium, a connective tissue that wraps around them.

What are perineural cells?

Perineural cells are formed from the perineurium, which is the middle layer of the protective perineural sheath. These cells isolate bundles of axons from connective tissues and form a diffusion barrier

What is the location of the perineurium connective tissue covering?

it surrounds fascicles of nerve fibers (axons) in the peripheral nervous system

What is the connective tissue surrounding a fascicle?

The connective tissue surrounding the fascicle of a muscle is the perimysium.

What are the functions of the connective tissue wrappings of the skeletal muscle?

endoneuuronium isolates form other neuronal procisses *Endoneurium - insulates each nerve fiber from the neuron processes adjacent to it. Perineurium - forms fascicles. Epineurium - forms cord-like nerve.

What is the fasciculi that surrounds connective tissue called?

Numerous fascicles together make up the muscle belly, which is wrapped in a tough, membranous coating known as the epimysium. The endomysium, perimysium, and epimysium together are known as the fascia of the muscle.
