Pipe schedule tell you something about the wall thickness of a pipe.
Higher schedule means thicker wall.
The actual thickness must be read from a pipe specification sheet, as it differs from material to material. Typical pipe sch. are Sch 20, 40, 80, 160, XS, XXS.
The temperature rating for PVC Schedule 80 piping is typically around 140F to 160F.
That would depend what schedule of piping your asking about thin wall? schedule 40? schedule 80? schedule 120? giving a hint would certainly help a lot
please tell me the difference between thickness
Schedule 40 P V C pipe.
I use schedule 40 for natural gas BUT if your talking medical Gases then look up the NFPA 54 or contact the CDA and your local codes
As far as I know the NPPA never had 3.4 piping and Steel piping is 2", 2 1/2" 5", 6" ,7" and 8" Although 7" is now very rare
What schedule piping as schedule 40 fittings are rated for 125# thus your 140 PSI would be really dangerous to try on standard fittings
What the difference between process piping and power piping?
Hello??? black steel comes in various schedules , schedule 10, 20 40 ,80 ,120 the thicker the wall the higher the pressure the piping can withstand
