4.0L 6 cyl. has the #1 closest to radiator. Cylinders are numbered 1 - 6 from the radiator to back of engine. Firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4

There is NO scanner/Computer plugin on a 1993 Jeep, they didn't come out with it until 1996.. I had a 94 and it didnt have it either.. Sorry, John V..
The spark plugs on a 1993 5.2 L should be gapped to .035 inch.
On the v 8 it is the front driver side cylinder.
The engine drain plug for 6 cylinder is on the lower left side of engine block.
For the 1991 Jeep Cherokee 2-wheel drive, 4.0 liter 6-cylinder, the spark plug gap is .035 (in thousandths). It should be noted that the gap is not adjustable on all brands of spark plugs. Check the package before purchasing plugs.
The oil drain plug is located at the bottom of the engine oil pan. The bolt is in the middle where the pan bends.
The spark plug gap for the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L (318CID V8 is .035".
It can be done, but it won't be a simple "plug and play" swap.
