Presidential reference in India, is a provision in which President seeks advice from the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, & he is not bound to answer it also if he gives his reference then the President is not bound to obey that suggestion, it could be clear from one case i.e. Keshavananda Bharati V. State of Kerala, under Article 3 of Indian Constitution
