Check the engine and transmission mounts along with the exhaust hangers.
i had spirit that had the same problem i had the tranny rediult and it hasn't had a problem since.
Is every gear essentially reverse now?
Could be low on transmission fluid. If so you have a heck-of-an oil leak.

A car that won't move when in reverse could indicate a problem with the transmission. It could also indicate a problem in the gear selector.
change MAP sensor
Linkage from the shifter to the tranny might be broken, frayed, streched, or misadjusted, check that cable out and make sure its all set, if it is, the tranny may or may not be blown.
You drive a car without a muffler, it is not vital to the car's system. HOWEVER without the muffler the car is vastly louder, in some states causing you to receive a ticket
The shift cable is loose or mis adjusted.
If Reverse works and Drive doesn't in a Safari Van, the problem is in the transmission. The belts for the forward gears are either stretched too much or broken.
