the qutub minar though old, but is preserved in a very well manner. going to the topmost storey is prohibited due to several attemps of suicide and some incidents of stampede. the minar bears several scars from thousands of years of survival. it is still a site to visit, in pleasant weather. it also makes the people of delhi proud by being the tallest minar of India. many sites may say that it is a rubbish monument (especially rediff.com) but believe me i have gone there and i know that if you are even a little bit interested in knowing the history of ancient india, you must go there for sure. it is still in a very good condition. god knows what the older people used when the built their buildings.
