There are radicals in the Islamic religion this is because they are ignorant to anything but the fact it's their duty to kill in the name of Islam even though they don't have any reason to back up their claims with something that Islam actually approves of. Technically, these aren't even Muslims (they just call themselves that) because they go totally against the teachings of Islam and all the moral values that the religion stands upon. Don't consider these people as Muslims at all because they aren't true representators of the religion.

The Quran also states, "that whoever kills an innocent, it is as if he has killed all mankind; and whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind." taken from verse 5:32 of the Holy Quran.

"Radical Islamists" as they are known do not practice Islam correctly. Allah tells mankind not to change or exsaggerate Islamic rulings and this is exactly what theses people. They have major holes in the verses that they use from the qur'an to justify what they do as they take verses out of context and use them to justify the means for what they do.

Please remember that radical islamists are not true representators of the religion of Islam.

What principles of radical Islam led to the twin tower attacks?

Your question is an ideal one. before i answer it i would like to tell you, that as a Muslim i find it slightly offensive that people (not you in particular) immediately pair the word 'radical' with 'Islam'. i am a Muslim and i assure you not radical in any way. you must understand, Islam reinforces peace above all else, one of the most important events in our history was a treaty called the treaty of hudaybiyah, it was a PEACE treaty. anybody who insists on killing innocent people for no reason whatsoever can no longer be called Muslim because they have commited murder, and a Muslim does not murder. so your question of the 'principles' of radical Islam, does not exist. Islam is not radical and thus there is no such thing as a 'radical Islam' because then it wouldn't be Islam, it would be radical. make up your mind because it cant be both. so to answer your question, there is no radical Islam. -this answer is my opinion as a Muslim.
