Debbie Bliss's toy pattern book has a donkey, but I haven't been able to figure out the pattern. There's a Disney pattern for Eeyore that I got from a friend, and several small donkeys on-line, suitable for a creche but not really toy size. One is here: http://knitalittlemore.blogspot.com/2008/02/little-gray-donkey.html If you want to help a charity raise money by knitting donkeys as well, here's a great idea... http://drupal.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/woolley
Okay, I was able to find a crochet pattern for Tigger, either as a stand alone .pdf for sale (Craftsy website attached), or in the Leisure Arts #3262 (or # ) book: "Disney Pooh & Friends." You can see if that might be available in your library, or look online to purchase the book. Finding a knit pattern was much harder. It appears that at one time, there was a knit kit, from Designer Stitches I did find a Tigger Illusion Afghan pattern for free (photo on Ravelry link, and pattern on Tigger Illusion link), which appears to be the only thing I could find as far as a knitting pattern
There are many ways to share a pattern of your own design. You can start a blog and post it there. If you are on Facebook you can write a "note" and publish it there. If you are on a forum, some allow you to publish it in their pattern section. I am not familiar with knitting forums, but Crochetville allows this. Craftown publishes patterns from many designers on their web site at craftown. That would be pretty simple as all you have to do is provide the pattern. They do the rest. I would have the pattern checked for accuracy, include instructions for any special stitches or abbreviations used. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- you can also join ravelry and publish it there. There are also people who will 'test' your pattern for you before you do publish which is a great thing.
I think that the afghan/blanket overall pattern isn't the most important to you--it is the Cowboy "star" that is the most important, correct? I have found a graphed cowboy star, that you could incorporate into any afghan or blanket pattern.
